Money Saving Technique of the Week #1

Did you know that if you take a ten minute shower every day, that shower costs you $2.00 on average?  That includes the cost of water and the use of your water heater.  If you could cut that ten minute shower to five minutes, you can reduce the cost of that shower by almost $1.00!  A buck sure isn't what it used to be, but a dollar saved is a dollar earned.  The plain and simple truth?  If only you reduced your shower by five minutes and on average you shower twenty times per month, you can save $20 per month or almost $240 every year!  $240 in your pocket and you are able to free up five more minutes of your day.  Did I mention that these savings can be even greater if more than one person in yourNot too shabby if you ask me!

Icing on the cake?  Try installing a new tankless water heater!  While the up front costs will cost you, you can save on average $20-$25 a month on your electric or gas bill!  If you want even MORE savings, try installing a shower head that reduces the flow rate of water.  These shower heads are readily available, cheap, and environmentally friendly as well!  Combine all three of these money saving techniques and you are well on your way to your financial goal!

Until Then...
